Have you been wondering what beauty must-have absolutely need to be in your makeup bag? It´s no secret that we makeup lovers have endless amounts of palettes, products and everything in between. But, at the end of the day, keeping the absolute essentials with you can be a lifesaver! Knowing which products or types of products you should keep stocked in your portable makeup bag will make your beauty life just a little bit easier! Here are a few of the essentials we think you should have in your beauty bag.

1- Primer + moisturizer

Prime, prime, prime! We cannot stress this enough -priming your skin is the most important step when applying makeup. If you don´t take care of your skin and keep it healthy, you´ll be waisting your time and effort with all of those beautiful product! Keeping a primer and moisturizer duo in your bag will save space versus having two different products, and will help you keep your skin happy while letting your makeup last longer.

2- Foundation and concealer

Whether you are a liquid foundation kind of girl, or you love your powered mineral makeup, you need to have a reliable foundation in your to-go makeup bag. Having a foundation and concealer both will help you in those situations when your skin needs a major touch up!

Why do we love mascara? In an instant, it helps you go from drab to totally fab, and it is light as a feather which means there is absolutely no reason you can´t add it to your makeup bag. Black is the best color in our opinion, but switching it out for an occasional brown might be a good idea to keep things interesting.

We find that keeping our favorite eyeliner in our makeup bag helps us feel confident and calm knowing that at the drop of the hat, we can change up our look. For those who love bold looks, a black liker will serve you well. If not, try keeping a brown and a white liner in your makeup bag to help you achieve nearly any look you could dream up.

8- Eyeshadow palette

Okay, we know we´ve already stressed the importance of eye makeup in your beauty bag. But, the eyes really are mirrors to the soul! An eyeshadow palette will add to your mascara and eyeliner, allowing you to create the most glamorous looks in the nick of time.

9- Brush Kit

Of course, no makeup bag is complete without a few high-end makeup brands and a whole lot of makeup brushes. After all, how are you going to apply your killer makeup without some amazing brushes?
